About
Rixey Terry (he/they) is a New York based actor and musician, influenced by many genres of music and exploring many modes of storytelling. Since living in the city, they've recorded demos for new composers, danced in pre-production for concept videos and new musicals, and performed in a number of readings. Some favorite roles include Will in Big Fish, Ernst in Spring Awakening, and Ollie in the short film Reverence which was shot in Ann Arbor, Michigan, spring of 2022.
Alongside performing, Rixey's a singer-songwriter, a choreographer, and an amateur haikuist (special skill). He's a former member of the UMICH chapter of DANCE 2XS UMICH, a top collegiate hip hop team. They’ve worked as an assistant and associate to choreographers across the nation and are deeply inspired by the continued crossover between street dance styles and the ever-evolving American Musical.
